Audax Renovables will supply 100% renewable electricity to the Adeje City Council
The town hall of Adeje (Santa Cruz de Tenerife) will enjoy green 100% energy thanks to Audax
Audax Renovables (ADX.MC), the energy group that integrates the businesses of generation and commercialization of renewable 100% electricity and commercialization of gas, has won the public tender called by the Adeje City Council to supply all of the municipality's electricity for a volume greater than 34,000,000 KWh per year.
The supply of electricity, which will come from renewable 100% sources, will begin on May 1, 2021, and will last 18 months, with the contract amount exceeding 5,000,000 euros.
Seven energy companies participated in the tender, including Endesa, Iberdrola and Nexus, but Audax was the best valued in its overall proposal and consequently it was awarded the contract, thus reinforcing its position in energy supply to the public sector.
The Adeje City Council is an important municipality on the island of Tenerife and has the main concentration of 5-star hotels in Europe, among which stands out what is considered the best luxury hotel in Spain according to the World Travel Awards.
