Audax Renovables begins works in Huelva
The 4.48 MW photovoltaic plant in Calañas, province of Huelva, will produce 7,754 GWh per year, which is equivalent to the consumption of 2,218 homes.
Audax Renovables (ADX.MC), the energy group that integrates the generation and marketing of renewable electricity and gas 100% businesses, continues its strategy of relentlessly promoting its renewable energy generation projects, starting the works of 4.48 MWp in the province of Huelva.
As of today, Audax Renovables has begun the construction of 4.48 new MWp in the Calañas photovoltaic plant located in the Huelva municipality of the same name, and which will have the installation of approximately 13,560 solar panels, which will produce 7,754 GWh per year of energy, which is equivalent to the annual consumption of more than 2,218 homes.
The Group continues to promote its commitment to renewable energy generation facilities, with this plant being the first to be built in Huelva, with a total investment of around 2.5 million euros.
Audax Renovables has been committed for years to the development of renewable energies to achieve a sustainable energy transition, in accordance with the shift being promoted by the European Union, and to continue generating quality employment and growth. Just a few weeks ago, work began on many other photovoltaic projects in the provinces of Guadalajara and Toledo.
For its construction, the Group ensures its support with top-level contractors that meet high quality standards, having signed the contract under the EPC (turnkey) modality with ANDALUZA DE MONTAJES ELECTRICOS Y TELEFÓNICOS, SA (AMETEL SA).
The photovoltaic plant in the Municipality of Calañas, Huelva, which begins construction today, will be carried out in part thanks to the second issuance of green bonds that Audax Renovables carried out a few days ago and which amounts to an amount of 200 million euros. The rest will be financed with own resources.
These projects are part of the Audax Renovables Group's strategy to increase its 100% renewable generation portfolio, with the aim of supplying its clients with renewable energy produced in its own plants.
