Audax Renovables and emovili promote the installation of electric vehicle charging points

The agreement between both companies promotes electric mobility through installation, maintenance and support services for charging points for electric vehicles

Spain is positioned fourth in the world Top10 in electric car regulation thanks to the aid from the Moves III Plan.

Audax Renovables, a vertically integrated Spanish energy group that generates and supplies 100% electricity from renewable sources and gas, and emovili, a leading Spanish company in electric mobility and photovoltaic solar energy, have joined forces to offer Audax Renovables customers an energy improvement solution based on solar panels and charging points from the Spanish company Wallbox, a leading provider of charging and energy management solutions.

Through this agreement, emovili will provide installation, maintenance and support services for charging points for electric and hybrid vehicles to all Audax Renovables clients: individuals, companies or public administrations. This strategic alliance, initially lasting one year and with national scope, will allow Audax Renovables to count on emovili's experience in the sector in its efficiency projects, as well as the high degree of specialization of its technical and human team in the installation of charging points.

The objective of this agreement is to provide efficient and quality solutions in terms of chargers, promoting the use of electric vehicles among society thanks to the improvement of charging infrastructure and helping to reduce polluting gases that promote the greenhouse effect.

Electric mobility, booming in Spain

According to the latest electric vehicle registration study by emovili and AEDIVE (Business Association for the Development and Promotion of Electric Mobility), in the first six months of 2022 a total of 38,467 electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles were registered in our country. A trend that continues to rise: according to AEDIVE data, in August, registrations of this type of vehicles increased by almost 15% and, so far this year, they have accumulated a total of 62,601 units, which represents almost 31% more .

David Busquets, Commercial Director of Audax Renovables, points out that “in the coming years we will experience an expansion of the electric vehicle and Audax Renovables is already prepared to offer agile solutions, adapted to the needs of each client and with quality customer service. that brings added value to each project.”

One of the causes that could lead the population to opt for electrified vehicles is the increase in the price of fuel. According to the latest data from emovili, traveling 100 kilometers with a gasoline car currently costs about 13 euros, while we would only spend 1.95 euros if we did it with an electric vehicle.

Francisco Casas, CEO of emovili, explains that “we are at the bottom of Europe in vehicle charging points per million inhabitants, which represents a great barrier to entry for those seeking a transition towards more sustainable mobility. Our goal is to make sustainable mobility much more accessible for everyone. We are talking about a new mobility model in which, in addition, we are committed to innovation and guarantee maximum savings for the client.”

However, our country is positioned ninth in the world ranking of the 10 countries most prepared for electric vehicles, according to a recent study by the consulting firm EY, which takes into account the supply capacity, demand and regulation of electric mobility. Furthermore, if we look specifically at the regulation section, Spain is positioned in fourth place, thanks to the aid from the Moves III Plan and the incentives for its use, among others.
